EMG and NCS are tests that measure the electrical activity of the muscles and nerves of the body, usually to an arm or a leg. The tests can help identify nerve injury or muscle disease such as carpal tunnel syndrome, a pinched spinal nerve, peripheral neuropathy, myositis, or ALS. Neuromuscular Diagnostic Ultrasound may also used to help your diagnosis if indicated. Conditions diagnosed with NCS/EMG are:

Advanced Spirts and Orthopedics is an amazing office. From the moment you walk in the are welcoming and knowledgeable from insurance estimates and any questions you may have. Dr. Sederberg was knowledgeable and thourough with my exam and able to offer follow exams and get them scheduled and referred to out of office locations within a 24 timeframe. In office an ultrasound and ex rays were taken and results were explained on the spot.
