Introducing Dr. Caleb West:

Dr West grew up in the Layton, Utah area and graduated from Utah Valley University. He attended medical school at Western University of Health Sciences, COMP-NW, in Lebanon, Oregon. He then completed his residency at University of Wyoming in Cheyenne and finished his sports medicine fellowship at John Peter Smith in Fort Worth, TX. Dr West has been involved with team and special event orthopedic coverage for TCU, University of Wyoming, Texas Wesleyan University, NCAA Women’s Gymnastic Championships, American Athletic Conference Basketball Championship, Women’s Tennis Association International Championship, Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo, Hotter’n Hell Hundred, Golden Gloves Boxing and many high school events. In addition, he is specially trained in orthopedic procedures such as joint and soft tissue injections, diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound, fracture care, nerve blocks, lumbar spine facet and epidural injections, and concussion care.

Some Fun Things About Caleb West

Secretly, Dr West always wanted to tour the world in a rock band, but these days he would rather play guitar at home for his wife, two young kids, and his dog. He enjoys staying active through long-distance running, Ultimate Frisbee, and Spikeball. Someday, he hopes to run the Boston Marathon. He is a sports fanatic and loves dad jokes, Marvel, and podcasts. After many years of training out of state, he is thrilled to be back in Utah to be near family, the mountains, and the Utah Jazz.
