I called first because I was running 5-10 mins. behind. The receptionist/billing clerk was the most gracious, kind, professional woman. She redirected me and gave me the proper directions. I entered the office, which was neat and clean with a nice scent on the air. I filled out the paper work while engaging in a friendly conversation with the staff member. I was called back in a timely manner and met a young lady who is studying in, Sports Med. She took my vitals, went over med. history and also offered me water. The Dr. came in and let me know he would be in shortly. Professional all the way! I was seen by Dr. Nelson. He was informative and spoke with me about my options and concerns. A plus 10 in communication, eye contact and a calm reassuring voice that enabled me to think clearly, trust and feel very confident in my choice concerning my knee and health. To top it off we had some commonalities. Top shelf, top of the line doctor and staff. I WILL highly recommend, Advanced Sports & Orthopedics! 😊 👍👌

I hurt my foot and was looking on google for an office to go to. They are open on saturdays and evenings so it’s very helpful with work and school schedules! The staff was very helpful and friendly! A super nice facility and very clean! The doctor very good at explaining my foot and what was wrong! I would definitely recommend them!!

This group of professionals was top notch. I was worried that a family practice doctor would not take the time to diagnose me accurately. A quick “You have tennis elbow. Take some Aleve and let it rest.” I also didn’t think I was ready for a surgery consultation either. When I saw the website I decided to give Advanced Sports a try. To my great satisfaction, with the diagnostic measures in place and the overwhelming competence of the entire staff, I walked out feeling extremely well taken care of and far more informed than I was prior to my visit. I now have a new found confidence that my elbow, which is required for my career, is in expert hands and will recover nicely under the care of Advanced Sports. I am so pleased with the Dr. Nielsen and his staff. It’s comforting to visit am office where the doctor takes time to educate you about your injury, and options for treatment.
Their prices are very reasonable, especially for someone having to self pay. I’m pretty sure I had to ask for the price twice because I didn’t hear them correctly.
Dr. Nielson was very gentle with my procedure. I was surprised it wasn’t painful.

“I was in a terrible car accident when we were hit by a drunk driver and our truck flipped several times in the air and landed upside down after hitting a telephone pole. I went to several “Dr’s” & “Specialists” about 8 months after the accident when I started feeling pain. About 90% turned me away after they heard I was in an accident and the other 20% had me go through the normal routine of raising my arms etc and said it would wear off. Dr. Curtis Nielsen listened and has relieved my pain.”
